Campaign Story
* Typical cost of capstone projects (including registrations, travel and supplies) is about $1200.
* I am trying to raise $600 as family and school will cover the rest.
Goals for My Fundraiser:
Supporting my capstone project
*** I plan to pursue the project though participation in TSA activities like competitions and community service. ***
The Technology Student Association (TSA) is a national Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) that helps students explore STEM through hands-on projects, competitions, and leadership opportunities.
What is ‘Compassionate Crisis Intervention Program’
A rapid-response initiative that offers crisis intervention services through trained peer support sessions, designed to provide immediate support and guidance in moments of acute social distress.

Why I am pursuing this project (My why)
- I am a ‘Influencer’ personality type person with strong ‘trailblazer’ business potential.
- I’m super passionate about becoming a Social Worker, specifically helping families through therapy that includes history and music. Right now, I’m working on a project where I get to help people navigate life’s ups and downs as a Psychotherapist. My big dream? To kick homelessness to the curb through kind and understanding social work..
My plan of action: Competitions and Activities
Career Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs) to join:
TSA – The Technology Student Association emphasizes hands‐on technical skills and innovation, providing a strong foundation in project management and effective communication.
FBLA – Future Business Leaders of America focuses on business acumen and leadership, which will help the student develop skills in handling objections and making quick decisions in real-world scenarios.
Competitions
TSA – Audio PodcastingThis introductory competition builds storytelling and digital communication skills, which are essential for raising awareness about crisis intervention and mental health issues.
FBLA – Business Ethics
This introductory competition addresses ethical challenges in business, encouraging students to evaluate moral dilemmas and propose compassionate solutions, aligning with crisis intervention values.
TSA – Software DevelopmentThis introductory competition focuses on designing and developing software projects, providing the technical background to create digital tools (such as apps) that support crisis intervention programs.
FBLA – Business PlanThis advanced competition allows students to create a comprehensive business plan, essential for scaling the Compassionate Crisis Intervention Program into a sustainable community initiative.
Community Service:
Compassionate Community Response Workshop
Why it fits: This activity directly supports the project by engaging community members in developing crisis intervention strategies, while providing a platform for the student to apply skills learned from competitions.
Implementation: Plan and coordinate a workshop in zip code 30058 with local stakeholders, mental health professionals, and crisis responders. The activity will involve interactive sessions, skill-building exercises, and feedback collection for program improvement.
Skills Development: Event planning, community outreach, facilitation, collaborative problem solving
